Advanced Create a direct download link for your files

Modify a Google Drive sharing link to force an immediate download of the file, bypassing the preview screen.

To share a file (like a PDF, ZIP, or image) and force its direct download by the recipient:
1. Get the sharing link for your file (e.g., https://drive.google.com/file/d/FILE_ID/view?usp=sharing).
2. Copy the FILE_ID (the long unique string of letters and numbers).
3. Replace this ID in the following URL: https://drive.google.com/uc?export=download&id=FILE_ID.
4. When your collaborators click this new link, the download will start instantly without opening the Google Drive preview screen.
